This post will take on a little bit of a different format to our usual posts but in these challenging times, it is something that I felt was needed. As you are all aware the impact of COVID-19 coronavirus on our daily lives has been unprecedented in recent times. I am writing this from the comfort of my own home, my role at Excell Metal Spinning allows me to work from home, but the majority of our workforce cannot do this.
This post is for all of the Excell Metal Spinning team that is still working within our factory. We understand that change at the best of times can be a challenge, but the rapid changes that have taken place in recent weeks due to the outbreak and social distancing measures have been met with absolute conviction. Our team have risen to this challenge and they have excelled.
I was still working in and around the factory when the measures were first introduced. We took every precaution and banded together, albeit, from a safe distance, uncertainty was rife in the air, but backing down is not in our culture.
I cannot say that I have experienced it like the rest of the team. Still making their way to work for 7:00 am Monday to Friday. I commute from upstairs, to my makeshift home office that once resembled a dining room. What I can say is that I am proud to be part of this team. I know both the Directors, Lee and Neil are proud of what the team is accomplishing.
The manufacturing services that Excell provides to a number of our customers are helping in the fightback against COVID-19 coronavirus. Our team is fully committed to providing the same level of service while taking the appropriate measures to stay safe.
From Excell Metal Spinning to our team we thank you for your continued hard work and determination through these challenging times. Your attitudes and perseverance have shone through. We will prevail and we will become stronger.
In addition to this post, I have focused our social media posts this week to highlight our team members. The photos were taken before the lock down and therefore I did not have photos of every team member, but they are all equally appreciated in their efforts.
